The abdomen and its organs are entirely covered by peritoneum. The peritoneum is a kind of tissue which is present in the outer lining part of the abdominal region. The Peritonitis is one such condition which severely damages the peritoneum. The formation of pus in the abdomen may be the possible reason for peritonitis. The types of peritonitis are spontaneous, secondary and dialysis associated. The symptoms of this condition are abdominal cramps, fever, secretion of fluid in the abdominal region, thirst formation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal distention, etc. Doctor’s diagnose the condition with the help of blood test and CT scan reports. The treatment is varies from one person to another based on the cause. Mostly, this problem is solved by antibiotics and also through surgery.
